Russel Shepard getting work with the 1's at WR. Kid's having a real nice camp so far. Undrafted from LSU.
Word is he could bump Avant and make the team as a rotation guy

He had every opportunity at LSU.
I just wish he would have run the ball more. He averaged like 6.7 ypc or something.
As a receiver, he was meh. He dropped a lot of balls, ran poor routes, and did not step up.
I hope he is motivated and makes it in the NFL. I wish him nothing but the best.

Good for him. I wish we would have run him more. I never thought he was a great fit at WR. Maybe in a different offense

What is the chance of 2 recievers missing the season and sheppard getting a spot on the team.... sounds like sheppard has everything going his way a the moment

Same here. He was best in the backfield his first two years.

He had every opportunity at LSU.

Good to see they've found use for him. Les never could.

In 2010. I thought LSU found ways to use him well that year and felt they could have built on it. His role changed the next two years, plus he missed 4 games in '11 I believe.

Wish we would have seen more WildShep...
Hell, everyone we played knew we couldn't throw the ball regardless of who was under center.
Why go wildWare if he wasn't going to throw it either?
