Damn the 770 hate in here is hilarious! 
I've never used one so I have no opinion. But it's enjoyable to hear people rip it to shreds.

Remington is coming out with a 783 model. Supposed to fit between the 770 and 700 if you want to check it out.

It truly is the High Point of rifles. If you cycle the bolt back too hard, the entire bolt flies out the rear. (yes, I checked the bolt stop/lever)
It's horrible on accuracy also. I was lucky to shoot 1/2" groups at 25 yards. I can easily shoot 5 rounds touching w the Ruger American.
