Columbus Police spokesman confirms the case against Carlos Hyde is closed and no charges will be filed.

Question now is what do you do if you're Urban? Can you discipline a guy when no charges were filed in the end?

Pretty sure Urban already said if he's innocent he will be allowed back.

Haven't seen the video(not even sure if it's public or not), but it sounds to me like a crazy bitch went crazy. Nothing to see here, IMHO.

Though, I'm sure Hyde isn't innocent in all of this.

This case hasn't got the national attention that an LSU case does

muschamp is keeping the suspension of the linebacker who barked at the dog (2 games, i beilieve)... granted, we don't really know if Hyde actually did anything wrong (it was reported last week he did strike the girl).

i'd making sit a game... just for putting himself in a crappy situation... no suspension could send the wrong message to the team.

Not that it's quite the same situation, but our starting safety and starter at the Star position in our D is suspended against Clemson for the opener. Police investigated house after maintenance worker said he smelled MJ. Police came and searched. Found no pot, only blunt guts in a trash can if I recall correctly. JHC admitted to smoking at some point earlier. Obviously no charges were filed. JHC got suspended for the opener and Ty Flourney-Smith left the team.

If I'm Urban I sit down with the girl he hit and have a little conversation to prevent her from pressing charges.

Oh, Wait!

Upon further review after watching the video, yes, yes he should be suspended.

shite the guy could have went to jail for 3 months and Urban would have suspended him for a quarter against some shitty school.....it's just how he operates like it or not.

I wonder how much pressure that girl got to not continue with the charges.
