If it happened 10 years ago, it is like 1 month in Tiger years.
I think Cameron can come across however he wants, as long as he relates to his players.
Look at Bill Snyder, NO ONE out works him, and he is as old as dirt...and his kids perform.

I heard it was because he and Flacco didn't get along.

We need a control freek as an OC. After watching the replay of LSU/BAMA last night for the first time, it is obivious with all the bone head calls that cost us the game. Fake field goal, wildcat quarterback sneak from 2 yards out on 4th down, on-side kick, and trying to run out the clock at the end when one first down would have sealed the game.
I will agree that LSU choked the game away defensively, but if Copeland doesn't get the personal foul call, we score and end the game there.

I just hope he can 'think' and not go in to 'scrambled thought' panic mode with less than 5 minutes to go in a close game. We get that...I'm happy.

If only hope Les will eat grass & let Cam coach the offense.

Control freak works better in college than the NFL.

Nah, the problem was fixed when Joseph "False Start" Barksdale graduated.

Please let someone be in control besides les loll

People gonna be maaaaaad when they see the same style offense and plays that Miles likes to run succeeding and bringing yards and TDs

Why do you think people will be mad? I fully expect that to happen, and can't wait...

Because people think that Cam coming in here means that we're going to suddenly become Texas Tech..
All the jokes about how Les needs to 'stop meddling' and bullcrap like that. The changes aren't going to come on the playing field, rather they're already happening on the practice field. Execution was the primary problem last year, and THAT'S what Cam was brought in to correct.
People hoping for an offensive overhaul are going to be disappointed

I don't give a shite about an overhaul. I just want offensive production for a change!

Just hoping for some more efficiency and execution.
LSU looked unorganized and underprepared last season.
I think the talent coming up is hungry and has a chip on their shoulders.

I want the same EXACT style of play we were aiming for. I think it works well with our talent in the state. Plus, I love being a power football team that plays a real pro scheme instead of the pansy spread. There's nothing more demoralizing to an opponent when you're running it down their throat and there's nothing they can do to stop it. And then, just when they think they have your run boxed up, you PA and bomb it for 35 yards for a TD.
The main thing Cam needs to bring is some sort of RHYTHM to the playcalling. Calling plays to set up future plays, keeping the D off balance, etc. I felt like the O could never establish a rhythm.

He just wasn't that good in Baltimore. I'm fine with the hire, though. We can't possibly get any worse on offense, and I'm confident Les can get them back to the title game.

Another viewpoint on why Cameron was fired by Baltimore
According to this article, Cam Cameron is a control freak.
Cam Cameron is a control freak
Not under CLM he won't be.
Although I've been seeing in interviews that Cam will call most of the offensive plays.
He may have "control" over mettenberger and the offense, but he's got an excellent RB coach in Frank Wilson.
Wish Cam would have been on the sidelines when LSU got to the Shama 32 with 2:00 left and a 17-14 lead....

As you can see from the responses following your post, reasonable fans (they exist) will be happy with organized offense in the same mold. No sane person is expecting Texas Tech type offense from Cameron. That's not his thing.
