Dude, I was last overseas in 2007-08 (Qatar). I saw every meaningful game that year on AFN

slingbox works very well, as long as you have the bandwidth to support it...trouble is, when overseas you typically have slow internet connections and it just doesn't work well...worth a try if you have nothing else, though...
