n all seriousness if he was gonna get the boot, i think it would've happened by now.

I tend to lean this way.

And is everyone not remembering a kid named Terrance Magee? We're three deep at RB people. I know that scares people considering we had about 7 guys get carries at some point last year, but thats very good depth for just about any other program in the country. Even if Hill is gone for good, I don't see the need to panic with Blue, Hilliard, Magee, maybe even Brazil at RB.

We're fine.

I have a great deal of love and respect for Skip after all he has done for LSU, but the guy is old, your kidding yourself if you think he is still making strategic decision with the athletic department. Chances are he is saying this because he wants it to be true, beacause he wants to be making decisions still (or seem like his opinion matters), and/or he has no idea what he is talking about.

3 years is a lot and Jefferson missed most of the season. When all your players are heisman finalist and starting RB and starting QB.

I think there was another OL that was kicked off too.

I count two of those as guys in the conversation for 'best player'.

It was Kyle Anderson, I actually knew him from The Woodlands as a kid.

Anyway, you're right, only 2 are considered as best players.

3 players in three years is not a lot. Stop being myopic and look around to see what's going on at other schools. Iowa and TCU had drug dealing rings recently. Washington had half their offensive production get DUIs this offseason. Bama had four guys randomly jumping people and stealing their debit card. Notre Dame's starting QB committed academic fraud. Vandy just had four guys arrested on actual rape charges.

LSU does not exist in a vacuum. Stop trying to pretend that they do.

The Hilliard and Magee will have good years. People are sleeping Magee this year.

The guy was getting carries as a freshman in a loaded backfield.

Seems to me a little more lienency would be given towards a younger player than a SR.

If JJ got few games suspension, I just cant see JH getting booted off the team........ unless of course the 16th hearing goes really bad.

keep in mind JJ's toubles happend week before the the season, which pushed his court date during the year... JH's will be over before season starts.

3 players in 3 years. And this is assuming Hill misses time.

Its all relative, you have to look at other teams too and what they are doing. We are not in a bad position as far as law abiding players go.

We may well be 3 deep at RB now, but we've lost at least one RB, either for the season or for an extended period of time, each of the past few seasons if not longer. And considering how CLM uses his RB in a rotation, 3 deep isn't shite anyway. We need Hill back in some capacity.

So people who are not the head football coach at LSU should have no opinion about Hill's status? Seriously?

Pretty fricking stupid for a guy in his position to say a kid is not going to be on the football team when the head coach has not even made a final decision. Will look like a complete arse if the kid is not kicked off the team.

Even if Hill comes back this year (or stays for his senior year) I think there is a good chance he gets in trouble again for something else. Maybe not with the law but violates a team or university rule. Trouble seems to follow him. I am not so much worried about the depth this year but next year. Right now we have 1 undersized running back committed and that's it. Fournette is very important to that class. He is a must get.
