re: Kirk Merritt's 52 inch vertical

someone posted a Uhigh video this past week that also showed destrehan vs dutchtown. They show 1 clip of merritt blazing past the dutchtown defense....he's #33, but i think doucet calls him talvin mitchell, which is on the roster as #33 as well.

Here he is against west jeff:

3:45 - the camera man misses the play, but you can listen to what his coach has to say about him and can see him get off the line at the bottom of the screen

4:50 - isom takes off for a td and merritt does his best jarvis landry impersonation blocking by the pylon and nearly drives the kid back to the track

7:00 - easy catch and run with a ton of space, but you get to see his elite speed.
