Anyone have a Gun Trust?

I've been looking into them as they "seem" to make the process of purchasing NFA/Class III firearms, silencers, SBRs, etc., a much smoother one. For instance, you don't have to get your CLEO to sign off on what you're trying to purchase. There are other benefits as well, and the price to set one up doesn't seem outrageous or anything.
Thoughts?

Just get a trust set up by an attorney. You can add beneficiaries to the trust so NFA items can be handed down to kids, etc.
I think average cost in LA is about $300.

If i ever get into NFA weapons that is the route i would take for sure. Without it your descendants would have a hard time hanging onto those items.

I got my trust through Terry, good guy.

I appreciate the info, but I take it I'll need a Florida attorney, no?
The privacy, additional beneficiaries, and long-term security were strong selling points.
I'd probably look into suppressors and SBRs for right now, I can't afford legit machine guns at this time.

I need a silencer bad.
As much as i want one i have a feeling it would get me a meeting with ole GW There is a nice buck that keeps coming out from 9pm to 2am on our property. Nightvision + silencer seems like the best option....

I have a trust setup with two friends. We pooled money together and around the end of this year we will have 3 suppressors (rimfire, .223/5.56, .308). Can't wait to get the tax stamps in and do some hog hunting!
I used Terry as well to setup my trust as well. Great guy very easy to work with and you can't beat the price. I've heard of other attorneys asking for $600+ to setup a trust.

An SBR 300BLK would be the perfect pig slayer.

I'm not sure where a wild pig population resides around these parts, but I'm suddenly inclined to find out.

Set up a trust for this back in early february. Coming up on the 6 month mark from when I sent my paperwork off. Hopefully I will finally have my stamp in the near future

So how long does it generally take to create a trust?

And while we're on silencers, are there such things for .22 pistols? If so, can someone suggest one? I'm talking about for shooting varmits and unwanted turtles I catch.

Mine took couple of hours. Gave them the necessary info that morning and by a little after noon they had it ready for me to sign and what not.

Depends on the model of the gun, you could get an external suppressor or one that's fully integrated.
For example, here's a Ruger MKIII 22/45 with an integral suppressor:

What is NFA?
National Firearms Act of 1934
The act resticts sales in short barreled rifles, suppressors, full auto firearms, short barreled shotguns and a few other things.

The main reason i did a trust so if something happens to me my wife could handle/sale my (SBR)guns if needed.
