Not sure. I have been lucky in that department though over the years.
I have 4 neck collars at the house and three leg collars. Two years ago added a satellite tracker to the collection on a dos gris.
My recommendation for ya'll looking for bands forget about mallards and start shooting Dos Gris! Positive in the last three years our group of three has killed 14 banded Dos Gris. They are banding them heavily right now.

Huntinguy – I have the 2 consecutively banded specks beat. I shot 3 canada geese from a flock – all were banded and the numbers were consecutive xxxxx-15, 16 and 17. My uncle shot at same flock got one bird no band. To be honest I was surprised to get 3 geese w 3 shots and no I wasn’t floating a 4th shell ;) (had a 1187 then) – killed the 1st 2 dead as hammers the last one had to chase down. I talked w a DU and FWS bio and this was the 1st time they ever heard of a triple w/ consecutive #s. I have 4 other bands – a woodie, redhead and 2 greenheads – the one band was really worn and it was banded 10 yrs earlier when duck was a juvenile.
I have been in blind for a number of others as well. I have been very lucky when it comes to jewellery.

Ohh I missed another banded canadian as well so a total of 8 - as mentioned earlier if you hunt an area where they are banding alot or when the concentrate on a species they are banding you will increase your odds

Our crew usually kills 2-3 banded ducks a season. I personally have 2 mallards, 1 drake pintail, 1 snow, it also had a yellow collar. On last years youth hunt in AR, the boys killed two in one day. One greenhead and one drake pintail. That is the first time I have seen multiple bands in the same hunt and these two were in the same volley...

mattstin - I should have bought a lottery tkt too that day
The canadas were all juveniles banded about 20mi away probably from the same family - that family tree took a hit that day.

I've got two, both from blue winged teal. One a drake that was 4 years old from North Dakota and one a hen that was less than 1 year old from South Dakota

2 Wood ducks - 1 banded in Grand Cote the other was from Virginia
1 Pintail - One of the Dakota's. I was young so don't really remember where.
2 doves in the same hunt. Banded 5 miles from where I killed them

Note: a lot of folks in the AR and MO areas stack woodduck bands because so many are banded locally. Similar situation with upper midwest "local" canada geese. It's not just about luck, for them! If you're in Louisiana it's just playing the duck lottery.
Might start taking down some more dosgris, or at least watching them more carefully, this year. A buddy took a double banded one last winter near Houma.

My group has been keeping pretty good records for the last six years. During that time we've taken exactly two banded birds (Greenhead & GW Teal) out of roughly 2500 ducks. We hunt primarily NW LA and NE TX (and one jam up ND trip).

2 Greenheads in Northern Alberta
Made two hunting trips there and was lucky enough to get one on each trip. They were band locally.
