Did Jeremy Hill piss on Matt Harris?
I am by no means dismissing Hill's behavior. He's a dumbass and apparently he has significant issues.
However, Harris keeps hammering this shite.
What will be will be. Hill doesn't deserve special treatment and that's that!

You don't really believe this is a problem only at LSU, do you? This is a problem at all major colleges with a winning record. Let's start with Florida......

I read his article. He's under-informed to say the least. I know a kid who's in the same fraternity with the boy who was hit. He says the kid has a reputation for starting fights when he's drunk; the kid has admitted to calling Hill the n-word; and he knows he was in the wrong. Apparently he's a nice kid who just can't handle alcohol.
I don't know how any of this will turn out, and neither does that idiot sportswriter. My money, though, is on a one game suspension.

I'm not a les miles cheerleader but anyone who thinks this is his fault is one dumb a-hole.
America would be a much better place of people would take ownership of their actions and be accountable.
Some of you people suck,,, always someone else's fault.

One thing I do wish les would do is recruit more high character players .
I'd take a Jarrett lee, jacob Hester, and an Eric Reid over those other three mentioned everyday of the week.

Lets just get this out the way before next year.
Which star will mess up and get suspended during the offseason for 2014?

Sounds to me like Matthew Harris is trying to move up to Gannett La...............

Paul Dean was destroyed by a racial slur.
Why isn't the one throwing the slur in Hill's case getting crucified?
Instead Hill is getting the crucifixion.
Why isn't the media all over the racial slur?
This question is for you - Harris.

All Hill had to do was avoid having cuffs slapped on his wrists and being placed in a squad car. He failed.
Amazing how some of these kids get a chance of a lifetime and just piss it away.

I can't believe we have to go through every offseason and hear this shite. I'm really starting to get pissed at Miles for this. He's a good coach, but this is unbelievable. It's always someone new each year.
You follow LSU because you are a fan I promise if you followed other schools as closely you would see the same things.
Also, if Miles didn't get Hill and he went to Bama instead you would be bitching that the best running back in the state left to go somewhere else and Miles is losing his recruiting edge.

if everyone that punched someone in the face got kicked off the team it would be a WNBA event out there.
our guys are robbing killing raping anyone. We have had a guy smoke a plant a lot and a guy punch a kid in the face for running his mouth.

.....and a fellow Advocate columnist has an article in today's edition suggesting the opposite.

Brent M. Stockstill, a local defense attorney and former prosecutor, said most people on misdemeanor probation who commit a second misdemeanor do not have their probation revoked. “The volume of people placed on probation (who) don’t complete all of their conditions would fill up every known prison in the world,” Stockstill said. “But for this being a high-profile case, I don’t think there would be any chance of his probation being revoked.”

Miles is a good coach but he has no control over society. This board is like a mirror of society. Every time a talented player breaks the law, there are as many defending him as criticizing him.

because it's the most common card thrown out there when there is an incident involving a white person, and a black??? so overused, not even believable, nor an excuse for a violent behavior anymore.

racially degrading language to anyone in that setting and not expect to get punched in the face.
He's played his last game at LSU.

Hill is a great talent, but enough is enough. If in fact his days at LSU are done, so be it. As an alumnus, I am tired of reading about the illegal activities of a few of our players. Personally, I think this would send a positive message to our new recruits.

From the article:
What a freakin idiot. The ADA's intent to file a motion to revoke the probation does NOT equal the judge actually revoking it. The ADA was always gonna file this motion, it's their job. This article brings nothing new to the table. Just more banter.
I'd comment on the rest of the article, but he says something really dumb every other sentence, so I don't know where to start.
ETA: For any dumbass that thinks a probation violation automatically means a revocation, then just shut up. It all depends on the judge's discretion in weighing the mitigating/aggravating factors of the situation, and anything anyone says who isn't the judge is just speculation.
quote:
An hour later, though, East Baton Rouge Parish assistant district attorney Sue Bernie might have made up Miles’ mind for him. Three separate times, Bernie bluntly said she’ll file a motion to revoke Hill’s probation stemming from a guilty plea as a high school senior to carnal knowledge of a minor — a move that could put him in jail for up to six months.
Let’s be clear: Hill’s days of touching the Win Bar before bolting out the door into Death Valley are likely done. Friday’s arraignment, when Bernie can file her revocation motion, is the just the guillotine blade dangling before the drop. All that’s left is releasing the rope.
