Gotta be Va Tech. They finished 3rd in the final BCS rankings that year and the 48-7 mudstomping was THE reason why we got to play for the title.

Ole Miss 2011 and WVU 2011 deserve nomination as well.

That would be my vote.

Georgia rematch in the SEC Title game 2003 maybe next.

The entire 2011 season was pretty badass. The sour ending unfortunately kills it all.

If we win that game, LSU 2011 gets ranked on lists of best CFB teams of all time.

Maybe even top 5.

Without question. Reminded me of those Nebraska teams of the 90's that used to roll everybody. That Spurrier Florida team they rolled like bitches in the title game was a pretty bad-arse team.

Against a big time opponent. The Va.Tech game is most complete beatdown I have ever seen a LSU team deliver. At no point was Tech ever competitive in the game.

It was great. for someone that hates VA Tech and sat through the 02 game. I loved every minute of it. Was even still living in VA at the time.

Also a great game. Score was 28-8, but ND only scored in the fourth quarter after a turnover gave them great field position. Andy Hamilton had 3 TD receptions, 2 from Bert Jones. Because his numbers aren't that flashy due to LSU being a very run heavy offense, I think Hamilton is often overlooked as one of the best LSU receivers.

ND had an consensus All American by the name of Clarence Gatewood. Hamilton was matched up against him on one touchdown and beat him off the line on the move the annuncer said something like "all you can say his he faked him out of you know what"

LSU-Ole Miss 2011
I just dont think anybody really feels like we should put it up, because by the time that OM team came up it may have been one of the worst teams in recent SEC history.
It would have been a complete game had we not kneeled at the 1 yd line with 5:00 to go.

I dont remember exactly what year but my dad told me about a game versus Rice where we set most of our single game records, if someone can please help.
