I'd say he can be an upgrade long term.

Lopez's one redeeming quality was he had a decent hook shoot and short range shot, but was horrible at rebounding and bad at defense. With Tyreke and Jrue, his offense is no longer needed.

Maybe the plan is to put Davis at the 5 more, but if not, Lopez is a better center than Withey right now. He actually was a nice rim protector (2.2 bpg Per 36 and 9th in the league in BLK %).
If I remember correctly, DX said Withey has trouble defending pnr as well.
I like Withey. Im glad they got him.But for people to act like he is better than Lopez right now is silly.
