Do any of you miss riding 3-wheelers?

My first ATV as a kid was a '85 Honda ATC 110. To this day I don't think I have ever owned something as reliable. Thing could literally sit around for months and still start and idle in 2-3 pulls. 4 speed, hi/lo range, no reverse and a chrome grab handle perfect for popping a wheelie. No suspension but fat balloon tires that would leak air constantly. It was a glorious deep woods machine.
Anybody here still ride a trike?

I won one of those in a raffle in 1983 when I was 5.

Deer rack was a precaution so it didnt flip back on you when poppin wheelies.
Fun rides but I almost killed myself on those things way more than my 4 wheeler

That Big Red is badass son. Best hunting ATV ever in my opinion and it was my dream ATV for years when I was a kid.
That 250R ain't too shabby either. Did you restore it?

I had a "blue" Honda 110 I think they we're pretty rare. Then bought a 250s for 250$ then sold it 4 years later for 800$

I don't miss having zero control over where I'm going in fourwheeler ruts.

I can go more places on the bigred than I can with my 700 sportsman with 30" silverbacks

We had a Honda big red and a Yamaha 225dx when I was growing up. That yammy was quick, and would flip in a heartbeat. I don't miss them at all. I'd rather 4 wheels under me.

About killed myself on a 250r in 1997.
I can remember popping wheelies and doing other dangerous shite on a 185 back mid 80s to mid 90s.

Also wrecked on a Yamaha and had to go to the hospital.
Seriously a miracle me and my friends are alive today.
I prefer 4 wheels under me now but that's because I know how dangerous I was on a 3-wheeler and I can't miss work while recuperating from stupidity.

The 185s was the best one, IMO. We also had a Big Red for a while, but it wasn't the same as the 185. A crack head POS from Swartz stole my 185s along with my Model 742 Alt 6 that my grandfather gave me and my Dad's 270BDL that he bought with his first paycheck out of college around 1994 in Swartz. I was in the tenth grade and Dad refused to get a four wheeler at the time. He bought two more Big Reds after the 185 was stolen. He didn't buy a 4 wheeler until 2000. He still rides it to this day. Honda FTMFW.

Had a yellow Suzuki 125. Used to roll the hell out of it. Bent one of the forks on the front couldnt ride it and parts were too expensive to fix. We eventually were able to bend the original back to make it rideable. Someone in the family has it siting in a barn somewhere collecting dust.

To be fair, the old trikes require just a little more body english than a quad.
I have personally done a similar maneuver many times in my younger days...

Hated the damn things. First one I hopped on I missed a turn and went into a barbed wire fence. 4 wheels good, three wheels bad.

I have wrecked everyone of these at least once. Kids back in the 70's, 80's, and 90's were a hell of a lot tougher than today's generation.
