Rented a cabin , taking the family in a few weeks. I know its a touristy place but anyone know of any good local resraurants/joints/bars/breweries that would be worth taking a look at ?????

Drive the park, Cade's Cove is interesting, let the kids splash in the creeks....plenty of fun stuff to do away from town.

This!

I wouldn't be anywhere near the strip unless the family begs.

It's a lot more fun to take the trails and pull over and do stuff. Have a picnic by the creek.

There is a brewery and a moonshine distillery up the road in Gatlinburg other than that its pancake city
