Agree, I have hit some 320 on baked out fairways with a tailwind and downhill, but my average good drive is like 250-260 maybe 270 if I really catch one, and my average average drive is probably 240.

I don't drive it 300 yards
I rarely break 85
I love playing the game
And my handicap holds up in club championships or real stroke tournaments.
Keep a true score and watch your improvement. It is fun to beat 8 and 9 handicap players in match play events...because they bullshite their scores.
