Despite Wales manager Chris Coleman saying Aaron Ramsey missed the game against Finland with the remnants of a flu virus which laid low a number of Arsenal players, the midfielder says it was a hamstring problem which resulted in his absence.
Speaking on Twitter he said, “Gutted to miss the game yesterday, my hamstring was tight after training. Medical staff didn’t want to risk me.”

Meanwhile, Germany are resting Mesut Ozil for their game against England on Tuesday night. Coach Joachim Löw said of the former Real Madrid man and teammates Manuel Neuer and Philipp Lahm, “They are the absolute backbone of our team and, for me, it is more important to give others a chance against such a strong team as England.”
