did we already discuss Arsenal finally coming back to America, playing NY Red Bulls in a friendly this summer?

Thats why i cant hate on arteta or wish he leaves. Our whole game has been through him since signing, i mean the first 3 years he had a ridiculous amunt of passes compared to the rest of the team and even bpl. Teams know to pressure Arteta, therefore making it hard for us to start any attack when we rely on him too much to distribute the ball. In that other thread I also pointed out he was second on the team with 3.2 tackles a game. With all of artetas shortcomings, he is the reason why this team hasnt completely fallen apart over the last few years and have kept in the champions league. If we must get rid of these players, find a replacement first. Too many times we let guys walk and downgrade.

considering going, but idk...think i'm going to nyc later in the year so i might pass up the chance to see Arsenal's reserves then. if I hadn't seen them at the Emirates last year, i definitely would be going though. perfect for you.

i really want to see them, but i kind of want to wait until i can get to london, just sad i may never see them with wenger on the sideline.

To follow up my point about atleti, they have to pay Chelsea 3m a game to play Courtois vs them. And they can't do that. Pretty huge match potentially worth more than that in extra revenue.

Team news: rosicky, ox, and Gibbs are all doubts. Flamini suspended. Kos back maybe Tuesday, ozil maybe next Saturday. Didn't say anything about gnabry. Hope he's fit. He'll have to start if ox and rosicky are out.

The news just keeps getting better and better ahead of what is one of the most important games of our season.
It's just comical at this point. Of course there's been all this talk about an investigation into what is causing all our injuries, but we all know nothing is going to come of it.
Wasn't counting on Gibbs since he was out for the last game, but what on earth could have got Rosicky and Ox injured ahead of this game? Ox played great when he came on, and Rosicky didn't seem injured or anything last weekend. A bruised vagina I'm betting. That's a 2 week injury at least.

Arsène Wenger has given the following fitness updates ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final clash with Wigan at Wembley.
on late fitness tests…
I cannot give you concrete team news because we have so many uncertainties about Chamberlain (groin), Gibbs (ankle), Rosicky (thigh). There will be last-minute decisions on those three players. They are all 50:50.
on Ozil and Koscielny…
Ozil and Koscielny are still out. I think the earliest to come back for Koscielny could be Tuesday and for Ozil it could be next Saturday. That would be a boost because at the moment we have too many players out and it’s important we get them back. We know that at this period of the season, the number of players we had out is too many.
on Diaby…
Diaby is back to full training next week. He could be available soon, maybe in a couple of weeks.
on Ramsey…
He is ready to start and certainly I will decide to start him because Flamini is suspended.
on Fabianski…
Fabianski will play in goal. It’s not a difficult decision because it’s a decision that has been made for a long time.
on whether Fabianski would play in the final…
Let’s play on Saturday. You play football on your merit and your performance and he has turned up with top-level performances until now in every single game. He has done extremely well. He has been man of the match in the three games he has played.
on Wilshere…
It’s all going well but he has not started to run. I think that’s planned for next week. At the moment all is going well.

zelalem and akpom were held out Monday for the u18 FA Youth Cup semifinal first leg vs Chelsea today at 1:05 CST (not for this weekend as i had speculated). this looks like it will be a feed: LINK
Obviously you know Zelalem and Akpom, Crowley might be our best prospect though. holy frick is he good. very iniesta-like. iwobi and maitland-niles are talented wingers that have a chance to make it. kamara has impressed at DM lately. our D though is pretty shoddy. pleguezuelo is a la masia kid though. should be a fun one.

Niles just juked out 3-4 Chelsea players before drawing a foul. It was pretty nice.
We look like garbage though. Chelsea has about 80% possession.

Game ended 2-1. We were always on the back foot and it could have been worse but the goalie played a great game.

Ox, Rosicky & Gibbs all in full training today ahead of tomorrow's game. Photos of training session on Arsenal.com.
Has to be a great sign that they are available to play tomorrow, right?!
