It just seemed to me like you put some effort (not back breaking or anything) into defending the DRM policy. It was the greatest thing since sliced bread and it was genius of Microsoft to do so. Now that the policy might change, you're back to the "eh I have a PC" thing.

I don't see stout "crawfishing" on this. He agreed with their policy, now they are "apparently" buckling under the uproar, so now he'll just stick with what he already knows works.

I still think it is. I didn't backtrack on that at all.
I had actually said for a long time I wasn't buying a console but after that Xbox engineer said they would like to get the Steam model to work on console then that had me intrigued and had me leaning towards buying one. I would even consider buying a PS if they got a service on par with Steam first believe it or not.
If this reversal is true then it just reconfirms my choice to not buy either console and build an HTPC/Steam Box which I have been talking about for the past 2 weeks. I was just trying to decide it I wanted to do that or to wait on the Xbox One. This would make my mind up for me.
