True Blood Season 6 Thread

So, True Blood is back for season 6 tonight and I'm intrigued to see where they're going with this with all of the developments that happened last season.
Bill is now the villain and I now can hate him and despise him fully. He was becoming quite the douche the last couple of seasons and I knew that this was where we were going to end up.
I still want to see Tara die. I still hate her. She serves no purpose at all and hasn't had anything to do with the main storyline in a very long time.
The sheriff is a daddy to four girls, four fairy girls to be exact. I think they're going to play a very big role in this season's end game.
Jason is a wild card this season. He's either going to hunt down vampires or help them. He started leaning towards the first at the end of last season.
Sookie is going to be dealing with Warlow a lot this season and whoever he is, he's going to be very important in the grand scheme of things. He's responsible for what happened with Jason and Sookie's parents.
Jessica.... I don't want to talk about her. I want to see MOAR of her.
I think it's going to be a very good season. I'm looking forward to this.

I reaaaaallly reaaaaally want Tara and Beeeeeeeel and some of the worthless side characters to die. Seriously True Blood, make this happen if you at least want to redeem yourself after the shittastic plotline of the smoke monster crap last season and Billith.
By the way, does anyone know if season 6 is going to be the last season, or is it going to be season 7?

Am I the only one that wants to see more of the horny arse, V addicted werewolves? Those people know how to party.

I'm giving it about three episodes. If it looks like it's going to be awful I think I'm going to finally hang it up.

Premiere was decent. Previews looked pretty good too. Hopefully things are turning around for this season and maybe set things up for next season to be the last.

I saw TB the night it premiered and Ive enjoyed it.
I stopped watching tonight about 20 minutes in and told my wife I was done, lol.
It's like they let a six year old write the dialogue and story and everyone forgot how to act.
I swear it looked like a Funny Or Die parody of True Blood.
fricking awful.

I hope we're not supposed to regard the Louisiana governor as evil and/or misguided in any way because I'm totally on board with his plan.
If there's a war coming down the pike, the vampires clearly started it.

one of the worst HBO shows made IMO

It's a guilty pleasure type show for me. I enjoy it but it's not something I would ever watch with my wife. Looking forward to the new season.

Alceid is living pretty good right now.

So I caved in and watched episode 1 Wednesday, and watching episode 2 now...
That scene with Bill and the blood feeder woman made me laugh for a minute, it was that cheesy.
I can tell/getting the vibe that the actors are ringing it in this season and just doing it now for the paycheck.

I've had this problem with some movies... I noticed Jason wearing a leather jacket in Louisiana. When in the hell would he be wearing a jacket in the daytime and not be miserable?

I was hoping Pam met the true death. Ever since Eric chewed her out in front of Marnie's place, she's become a whiny little bitch, jealous of Sookie, jealous of Nora, Jealous of Willa and just an all-around pain in the arse.

1) I can see why humans might want a vampire protector but why do vampires need humans? After six months, shouldn't the True Blood factories be back up and running?
2) Violet is a major problem for Jason. She's more trouble than Glen Close's character from Fatal Attraction. At least the Fatal Attraction broad liked to screw and she didn't have the powers of an 800-year-old vampire. I predict Jason will get tired of begging Violet for sex and get some poon from some chick with hep V and then give it to Violet after she finally decides that he's waited long enough.
3) It sucks to be Jessica. I knew she'd be a pariah in Bon Temps after what she did, and I can't see Arlene ever accepting her back at Merlotte's.
4) If Tara's mother is diabolical enough to give her hep V, I can't imagine what Pam might do to her, and I also think her preacher husband wouldn't look too kindly on this either.

Are we to presume that Bill confessed to bombing the True Blood factories also? If so, wouldn't that make him enemy #1 to both humans and vampires?
