People hated Steam so much when it came out because the service was lacking but also because they hated the forced DRM. Look where it is today. People always hate change at first.

How is it a PC? A PC is not proprietary, is upgradable, and can do you know...PC stuff.
This is still a console in every sense except now your games are delivered digitally.
