And yet you were the one that acted like a day 1 digital release was the only thing that article was about. Whatever, fanboys gonna fanboy.

If I sounded like that, I didn't mean to. I have both consoles now, and I'll likely buy both of the new ones.
The point I was trying to make, is that both systems are trying to head to all digital. PS4 will allow you to download the game before release, and then unlock it at midnight on release. Just that alone will go a long ways towards getting away from physical copies. 8 or 10 years from now, people will be so used to that, it will be a much easier transition for the PS5 or whatever.
