Emails from the ticket office just went out.
LSU was granted only 700 tickets for the games in which we will participate.

At first I thought this was for students
So does this mean only 486 tickets are allotted to LSU season ticket holders?

I found that the general admission seats were more fun at the old stadium. Not sure how they may be in the new one.

It seems like a good system to me.
These "fat cats" could save a lot of money for themselves by just buying the tickets for the games they want to see on stubhub, etc. Even buying all of these tickets scalped they would spend less than the significant amount of money they donate each year through thick and thin. Then they still have to purchase the tickets on top of that.
Some people just feel entitled to stuff. But the TAF point system helps entice and reward those that make significant financial contributions that keep our program on top. Despite this, you can still accumulate a pretty high TAF rating simply by donating 100 dollars per year for a while, which is a nice way of throwing a bone to the average loyal fan.

A lot of locals bought grandstand seats in advance and will be selling them outside nearby before the games. Not sure where the seats will be, but there will be tickets available if you're not looking to sit in general admission.

I thought most lsu baseball fans already had tickets since they go to the cws every year whether lsu plays or not.
