With CB Patrick Robinson out, Corey White getting first team reps. Also rookie Kenny Vaccaro lined up with starters at SS

Imagine having a SS with coverage skills

Frankly, I'm not sure I like Corey White having to wait for P Rob to get injured to play with the ones.

Hopefully McGriff is telling him the GTF. If Andy Tanner is blowing past you, then you're in real fricking trouble.

I'll say it again, cutting Jenkins and carrying over all of our cap space would be just about enough to franchise Graham next year (it falls right in between the cost of franchising a TE and a WR).

@wwltvsports: Sean Payton may say they haven't decided on play caller, but he has spent more time viewing defense this minicamp than I can remember.

Good. He's not going to let himself get burned again like he did by GW. Seems to have a good relationship with RR, and let's face it, from RR's standpoint anything's got to be an improvement over Jerry Jones constantly looking over your shoulder.

edt: Another reason I like this is SP is just too smart of a football guy not to be able to positively contribute to the defense. He see's things faster than anyone I know. He needs to be more involved with the D.

Very true. I'm sure he saw ANDY TANNER blow past Mal for another TD.

I thought we cut Tanner last season.

We did. He apparently bounced back and forth between the Saints and Pats practice squads. Seems like he'd have a better shot making the Pats, but I guess they never offered.

I think it's just too much responsibility for him. He doesn't have the instincts imo.

We should trade him if he doesn't appear to be coming around.

Or move him back to nickel, trade value he might be worth a 5th or 6th.
