Funny, but still the right move. Throwing number 2 was right risk to take tonight. They had 0 chance vs LSU without ace. They're done.

why? They should save him for sunday. Does sending their ace out to beat Jackson st give them a better chance at winning the regional than pitching him against Sam Houston/LSU?

Losing this game brings their chances from about 15% to about 2%. It's over. Need to just stay alive at this point.

ULL will not throw Robichaux vs. Jackson State. They will outscore the SWAC team and stay alive.
Robichaux will pitch against someone on Sunday, presumably SHSU in an elimination game.
