my God lsu has got to be the whiniest bunch of fans in college football. if your team is so damn good then just BEAT the teams on your schedule and quit fricking bitching so damn much.....geez

This is what is so tiring coming from Bama fans...They call LSU fans whiny while they can't admit that the bias inasmuch as a year or so ago their own coach cried to the SEC office about having to play too many teams on their schedule the week after a bi-week. I guess that too difficult and it certainly is okay to whine about, but complaining about other scheduling irregularities makes another fan base cry babies.

Those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Posted by SabiDojo The SEC is adding South Alabama to be Bama's new permanent opponent.

"The third Saturday in September"! A super important historic rivalry that no one outside of Alabama knows or cares about.

Just a quick question. What negative impact can anyone point to that his so called disparity in schedules has resulted in an different outcome since 2009? If we switched schedules do yu think we would have won 3 out of 4 BCS titles? Only 1 team has kept us from that and they will continue to be on our schedule every year. Why is Florida not wanting out of the permanent schedule? Just man up and beat BAMA when it counts, with a home field advantage, and the schedule talk never happens.

Good Question. 2012 LSU and Alabama both played .500 football against their top 10 opponents. Bama beat LSU and lost to aTm. LSU beat aTm, beat USC, lost to Bama and Florida. Even if we beat Bama in years like these, we still have to go 2-0 against the studs from the east while they rest and experiment with freshman against Tenn and Vandy/UK/whoever. Watch and see when the 2014 bridge schedule comes out. It's simple math. You play more top ten teams, you have the opportunity to lose more games and you get more worn out as the season goes along. Bama has to get up for only 2 games a year. Tell me where I am wrong.

Is LSU the only one complaining about how weighted it is in Bama's favor or are other schools as well?

You got to remember that UGA has also benefited a ton from the bridge schedules. Florida and USCe fans have complained about the imbalance, but LSU got screwed the worst so our fans are the loudest about it.

The gators don't complain as they do not have to play bama, in addition to LSU, every yr. Thus, they avoid the potential of having to beat bama twice, regular season & in the SECCG to get to the NCG. Like LSU now has to do with the gators.

Never played a down of college football. The season does wear you down. So how does Les adjust to that? You hear stories that he does not slack up with physicality as the season wears on. Is it true?? And I don't see BAMA being more physical with us in our last two matchups. The fact remains the schedule has meant zero difference between the two teams. QB play, flawed offensive game planning, and slightly better talent have made the difference. Easier schedule for us would not have changed that.

Well every bama fan tells me their most talented team was in 2010 when they lost 3 games. Why did they lose 3 games? Because 6 teams had bye weeks before them. But that doesn't matter right?

Can't have bama losing 3 games with a tough schedule. And both instances are one and the same. Tougher teams = tougher schedule. More bye weeks = tougher schedule.

List all the teams and their permanent opponents in the sec. You will then realize why it keeps getting voted down.

Go kill yourself. Easy to say beat the teams on your schedule when your schedule is rotting shite on an annual basis. Only an incompetent moron makes a statement like this. Lsu is 3-3 in the last 6 legit games vs bama so frick you. Bama continues to benefit from do overs, mulligans, backslidden poll politics, unbalanced schedules and no holding calls. If you can't recognize this as fact then you are just plain dumb. Bama hasnt played a schedule since 99 with 4 or more ranked opponents. lsu has done so 4 times. lsu has played uga and florida 19 times in this span, bama 7. Lsu will play 5 teams in the top 15 this year while bama plays 2. you truly have to be a dumb shite to think this is a fair playing field. Due to these facts and factors, the Mnc is just that, a myth or fake and there will never be a true champ without a deep playoff like fcs has because of all the complete horseshite in college football.

Oh shite. Truth.

Not a Gump. Big an LSU fan as anyone on here. I just don't follow the crowd when I don't agree with them. I don't agree that the schedule has been any detriment to us whatsoever. I think many will try to deminish what Saban has accomplished regardless if the facts back it up or not. Jan 9, 2012 through all arguments about the schedule out the window. We had 4 weeks to rest. 4 weeks to game plan. 4 weeks to heal up. 4 weeks to self scout and break tendencies. 4 weeks to win. And we had a mud hole stomped in us that evening. This year BAMA lost to A&M at home and we lost to Fla on the road. I think we both had two weeks before the game in BR. We had them beat until under two minutes to go. They called the perfect play on our defense, a coverage may have been blown, and the rest is history. Disagree with my opinions but don't question my loyalty or love for LSU.

OK, you've convinced all of us !
Playing 4 top teams is exactly the same as playing 2 top teams and it's perfectly OK to do so 2,3,4 yrs. in a row...sound about right ?
You do realize that's exactly what you've claimed over and over and over again !

. BTW, still waiting for the fact to the presented that the schedule had ANY difference in the final outcome of the season for the last 4 years.

You think who you have to play or who you dont have to play has no impact on winning games or conferences or titles?

The month of SEC games faced by LSU before the Alabama show down contains USC, Florida, and A&M. While Alabama takes on Missouri, Tennessee, and Miss. St.

Yeah, that has no possible impact on game outcome. lol

Wake up.

Get out of here!

If you check the NCAA stats for 2011, LSU had the toughest schedule in college football.
