No, I'm just saying I don't think having the best online experience is all that important. We have consoles provide great experiences with no or limited online. I can still go back enjoy games from generations ago. Other consoles were the best console without those features.

So, You want to regress to the early 2000's? Why would you not want more?

Again, comparing consoles when online play was in its early stages has no relevance in today's gaming landscape.

I'm not saying they need to regress, I don't think it's the definitive goal that you need to accomplish with your console. Again, it's just my opinion as I very rarely use the online features of consoles outside of Netflix app (which is on everything now) and the occasional cross game chat on Live.

Well you are the unicorn of the console consumer.

Am I? There's still millions of consumers who have a 360 and PS3 and have never connected their console to the internet. This is from 2010, but there's been some work that you may find surprising.

There's flaws with the study, but consider that what you see around you isn't always the norm. What the percentage of connected consoles are in the US, the number will be even lower in Europe.

I rarely do anything online on my console. All of my online gaming is done on my PC.
