I never said that Uggla was good. I said that I think he could figure out again and hit like 30 bombs and bring up his slash line to more respectable numbers.

Most guys perform a little under their career average in their return from tommy John. Beachy will be good, not great in 2013. His numbers will be worse than his career averages.

If you are hoping for more than a .220/.330/.420 from uggla, I hope you have a while to wait. Either way if he puts up those numbers the braves can live with it.

He is in his decline years and his contract is unmovable.

And how is BJ Upton any different than this?
