I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. If you dine at fine dining restaurants in New Orleans I wouldn't expect to be blown away. We have a big trip to Disney planned this year and I'm not reserving anything for dinner. I've had my hopes high for a great meal before at Disney and I'm not going that route again.

Only two things we have booked are with Le Cellier and with Chef Mickey for the kiddo. We will be getting off a Disney cruise prior to that so not sure we will eat out other than quick stuff a whole lot anyways.

It's much better now. We used to think this way. This year was very enjoyable though. Of course you won't get the NOLA fine dining experience but you have to remember it's still a theme park. The counter service meals are actually very good though. If you don't want to spend a bunch that's a good route to go. We had the meal plan last week and it was just my wife and I so we made sure to have one good meal a day.
