Flying Saucer in Sundance Square will handle your beer needs. Check out Tim Love's place, Lonesome Dove, in the Stockyards for a meal.

Love Flying Saucer! Spent a lot of time in there during the Oregon game weekend a couple of years ago. We stayed at embassy suites right across the street.
I've heard good things about Tim loves place. Thanks

I got unbelievably hammered at that place the night before the game. I was pounding double IPA like they were light lagers. Didn't even want to look at a beer the next day.

You just looking for hole in the wall type places? Not sure about them but Eddie V's is a great upscale place to go. Really good food!

Cousin's BBQ. Go to the location on McCart.

Joe T Garcia's for tex-mex
FAIL. Joe T's is good for Margs and sitting on the great patio. Food is avg at best.
Hole in the wall Great Texmex at El Asadero on Main St. near Stockyards. Tres Joses is very good to if you are in the Cultural district near museums.
Flying Saucer is great. Check out T&P Tavern if you have a chance. Its in the old Art Deco Main Train Station at the souhern edge of Downtown.

The Flying Saucer is in a new building new. It moved across the street to the old 8.0 location.

And the patio is even better than the small upstairs balcony they had before. Could never find a table outside before.

Chuy's is also a good Tex Mex place. Right off of 7th street close to downtown. Steak burrito with Hatch green chili sauce is hard to beat.
I'll add another plug for Flying Saucer. Always fun to try some random beers that they have on tap.
