I'm just proud I made Hugo's book reading bastard list even though I don't think I've posted in the any non reader threads at all this year. And I know I don't go throwing spoilers around on there.

frick FP.
I just don't see any reason to post in the illiterate threads anyhoo. Let them enjoy re-fried literature unmolested. They only short themselves.
I couldn't imagine watching the series without having read first.
What a befrigged waste of a great story.

Was this to warn the illiterates of our presence, or Hugo patting us on the backs, or both?
My bad for "us"...I have not seen the list of which you speak...I suppose it is more or less a family tree of House Crackpot.

I think maybe both. I don't think Hugo is a book basher.
I don't have a problem leaving those guys alone. If I was in their place I might be a little leery of getting spoiled myself. Although in situations where I haven't read the written material, like Walking Dead, I don't go around acting an arse if someone drops a spoiler.
I think both sides got their hackles up this season for whatever reason and it became a tit for tat thing with insults slung back and forth. Best kind of situation to stay out of.

The list isn't of people who have posted spoilers, it is simply anyone who has read any part of any of the books and thus is considered by some too learned of a person to post in their thread for children who don't read good.
eta: enjoy the show tonight everyone. I will be over the Atlantic on my way to Rome, not direct like planned (frick US Air) but through London Heathrow.

I have no idea what I am going to do with 1Channel down... I hope Glowzone has it.

Every time I've been to Rome whether for archaeological panels or a historian round table it's been through Heathrow.

I know someone posted it in the Middle Ground thread, but there's an SNL skit from last night about GoT and my man Nikolaj is in it .

What a gloriously shitty film "Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" is.

Top notch terrible, the whole audience laughed at this one. Just awful awful awful.
As a rule, I hate sleek sunglasses in a story set in the 19th century
Wild Wild West
Django

Well, Django was good.
But honestly I enjoyed Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Gloriously, gloriously awful, with tons of unintentional hilarity.

Maybe we should take up a collection to send them here:
