Aren't there several different types of snakeheads? Do they have bowfish/choupique in Florida? That does look like a bowfish....thought it was a snakehead

Well it's definitely got some teefies. That and the fins are the easiest way to tell them apart. Bowfins have short anal fins while snakeheads have longer fins.

Par boil meat, mix with onions, seasoning and bread crumbs like a meat ball. Dust in season flour and fry, drain off some oil make gravy with drippings, balls back into pot. Simmer for 30 and serve over rice. Best I can remember from Granny doing it. I enjoyed them.
