Do you honestly think losing in the nat'l championship is more embarrassing than say going 2-9 in 1992?

i can't speak for 1992 but the circumstances and the way it happened on 1/9/12 would be hard to top in a Hollywood script

I love people who claim that no one will remember the arse rape fest that was 1/9 and talk about a early season last second 13-10 loss to UAB following a year when we went 4-7 as the most embarrassing moment in LSU history.
Denial is a lovely state to live in.

As bad as we played that night we still had a chance in the fourth qtr. notre dame's loss was more embarrassing, imo. That game was over 5 minutes in.

I said nothing about the UAB loss and my answer was Stony Brook. I laughed at arse rape fest though. Good times

During the Hallman era we got beat by Florida 58-3. We lost to Southern Miss. We lost to Colorado St. I think I've blocked the rest out.

When the OC for LSU football through Jamie Howard under the bus in a press conference following the Auburn interception game. Who was calling the plays!?!?!?!?

the only right answer for any LSU fan should be the Valentines Day Massacre in 1994 or UAB in 2000

If the nation cared as much about college baseball as college football, then Stony Brook would be everyone's answer. It is certainly mine, but that's because I care more about LSU baseball than I do about LSU football.
Not to say I don't care about the football team either, tho. I spent a pretty penny on a scalped ticket for that NC game all to see the most frustrating football game of my life.

Doesn't matter. Our players could not execute the plays called. Even if they were calling for a traumatized qb to keep slinging it over the middle downfield in the fourth quarter after 5 ints in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Players have to execute.
When something doesn't work we stick with it. I respect that.
