Taking off the purple and gold glasses shows you this LSU team may struggle this year. It will depend on young talent jells on defense, and how will they pick up a new offense.

no it's a serious question. they are the only team in NCAA that started more freshman than we did and are getting back an potential all-american QB. I think for those reasons alone 7-6 can be ignored

Whaaaat. This offense this year is much improved. The line finally got to gel towards to end of the season and almost everyone on offense has returned, plus the additions of some big time receivers.

I think your comment is a bit off. Take a closer look at TCU's results. 7-6 doesn't tell the whole story and you are making some strong assumptions based on that record.

A couple more facts for you to chew on:
1) TCU lost their starting QB 4 games into the season and played a true freshman the rest of the way. They started the year 4-0. They went 1-3 through the next four without Pachall.
2) TCU finished with the #16 defense in the country.

TCU is a good well coached team, and they will be jacked up to play any SEC team much less LSU.
