Posted on 4/28/13 at 7:53 am

quote:
Summary: The Hound is judged by the gods; Jaime is judged; Jon proves himself; Robb is betrayed; Tyrion learns the cost of weddings.
Is this the week that Jon gets knee deep in Ygritte? Does Jamie's new necklace finally start to smell? Is the Hound finished?
Is Dany even in this episode!?

ETA: Ground rules
1. This thread is for non book-readers only. We don't need any help from book readers in developing our theories.
2. If we ask a question in this thread, it is to generate discussion with other illiterates. If you are a lurking book reader, please do not use a question as an excuse to start posting in this thread.
3. There are two other threads related to this one episode. If you are a book reader, post in those. If you are a non book-reader and want to discuss the show with book readers, please go post in the middle ground thread started by PsychTiger.
4. Book readers: Even if our theories are so absurd and wrong, and you find yourself unable to breathe because you are laughing so hard, please go die in a fire before posting here. Also, even if someone stumbles upon the perfect theory of how shite goes down, please go die in a fire before posting here.
5. There are some book readers who, even after much pleading and calm requests, refuse to stay away and allow us to discuss this show amongst ourselves. Please just ignore them. They don't want your responses, they want your attention.

The Kingslayer must smell like month old wet dog shite at this point. Still don't feel bad.

I'm a book reader and here to answer any questions you may have. I think this may be the episode Gandalf shows up in.

Think about how long he was captive. That would be best case scenario. He probably smells worse that anything we have ever smelled

Need another Missandei appearance in the slave outfit

I'm thinking we get no Dany tonight, which is always a huge disappointment.

19 pages until anchor is my guess...
Can we add a new line to the rules: "Do not feed the trolls"?

I'm ignoring them today. I'm just done with it all. Already, on the first page of this thread, there are as many posts by book readers as readers.
They just can't stay away, and I'm sick of trying to fight with them.

This is all I'm going to post in here but, I had a friend come over for episode 4 and they said the last one was slow and dumb.
Unfriend them?

I don't understand why the hobbit-looking guy set Theon free, only to hunt him down and return him. Was it so he could masquerade as an ally to get truthful answers from him? That was my first thought, but he didn't really ask questions;Theon just blabbed unprovoked.
Am I missing something or have they just not hinted why that happened?

They haven't hinted at much other than the kidnapper told Theon "winter is coming" in episode 3.
Perhaps he's a Stark loyalist looking to avenge Theon's half-arse sacking of Winterfell.
