They gave up a 1st this year and a 3rd and 4th conditional in 2014 for a one legged CB.

Bucs staccckkkkeeeddddd
Aints, Panthers, and Falcons fricked
Wouldn't suprise me if the Jets trade the #9 + #13 to KC for the #1 overall and take Geno Smith
But if they get Mingo and Millner that would be solid.
Get Kniles Davis in the 2nd

I would think they would nab a CB and some kind of offensive player with 9 and 13. Defense wasn't really their problem IMO. They absolutely have to get some weapons

I could see 1 pick being used for DE/OLB, the other used for more picks. Someone like the Falcons or Packers are looking to move in the top 10, which could net a big gain. Allows the Jets get a top player, and grab WR on the back end of the round.
CB and S are needs, but there is a bit of depth in the prospect pool there.
Offense needs a Guard, which even though is headlined by Cooper and Warmack, still has some very good prospects in Warford and Winter. RB isn't a huge priority, and it will become smaller if they get Ivory. A top 100 pick will almost certainly be used on a QB.

The only reason that wouldnt suprise me is because its the Jets....that would be an awful move on so many levels
Jets are trying to trade back from #9 btw

he won't get anywhere near that, not to mention it comes with no guaranteed money.

Pretty great contract structure actually.

We need to bring the Bucs fandom hard this season
Consider it DONE!!
Dom gave up #13 pick a conditional 4th/3rd (becomes 3rd rd if he's still on the roster in 2014)
Contract is basically a "prove your worth the money" contract 6 yrs 96 mil 13 mil a yr base (incentives could push it to 16)
Very cap friendly deal as well
Kinda shocked Dom got him for that low (was expecting to lose at the least 2 lower rd picks to go with 1st) but I guess Idzik reached that "better than nothin" point leading up to the draft.
All positives for Bucs in this deal, and anyone hoping he won't be ready, he is scheduled to be ready (he is ahead of schedule in rehab) by start of pre-season
What it adds to Tampa, along with adding Dashon Goldson and hopefully a young CB through the draft (if its DJ Hayden ooooh buddy look out) it shifts the league's 32nd ranked pass D into a strength position
I'm excited for the draft now

"We have no concerns about Darrelle Revis' physical condition," a Bucs senior team official told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. "He will be out there the first day of training camp and ready to go Week 1."

Why are you wishing the curse of TTF on your football team?

Bucs have been waiting on Freeman to turn the corner for a few years now. I have a feeling what you've seen of him... Is all there is.

I still think Freeman can be a damn good quarterback.

Maybe so, he shows flashes but I don't think he will ever carry the team. If Martin keeps providing some balance they could make some noise.
