What? I know 2k5 has some fan support to this day, but I just couldn't really get into it. The animations looked outdated, and I wasn't a fan of the presentation. It did a lot of things right gameplay wise that EA still hasn't done.

Not when it comes to the NCAA games
quote:Because EA sucks. The fact that they cornered the entire football market allows them to put out subpar pieces of fecal matter every year.
no one else makes college games
quote:Competition is the only way to force EA to actual improve their games more than just halftime animations and menu layout.
Maybe 2k will be able to make some
quote:Who cares? The graphics were good and the gameplay was excellent. The infatuation with things like halftime shows and fight songs in football games is on par with being excited about the skins you can put on guns in CoD.
horrible animations and presentation.
It is nothing but a waste of computing power.

The only two things EA does right are FIFA and NHL
Posted on 4/20/13 at 5:41 pm to Scruffy
The gameplay may have been good, and I don't need good graphics, but shitty animations can ruin the experience.

Waiting on next gen. Give me 85 man roster, faster recruiting, fox and cbs and I'm all in
Posted on 4/20/13 at 8:40 pm to AllBamaDoesIsWin
It looks EXACTLY the same as last year. The best part is at the :21 second mark. Watch this "new" cutting motion. It's the same shitty motion it's been for the past couple of years. He goes to plant his right foot to make what would be a realistic move but instead his left somehow slides 2 feet from where it was planted while his right foot stays in the air to make the cut.
ETA: I see EA still hasn't addressed the carrying motion of the players. The arm of the ball carrier doesn't move which looks like shite and is completely ridiculous.
BTW the infinity engine looks like shite.
This x100000000000000
Until they include this simple addition I won't be getting any EA NCAA Football game again.

Atta boy. Stand up to fascism. Fight the power and kick EA right in the nads.
If people stop buying their shitty products, they'll change.

Really wish 2k would hop back on the saddle. They had College Hoops rolling until EA fricked that up

Actually it's pretty damn good imo, they had it in Madden 13 and I liked it there.

It may turn out OK, to be honest I've never played Madden 13. It doesn't change the fact that EA hasn't updated any of the other small things, such as the ball carrying motion. Add to that the fact their "new" cuts look EXACTLY like the cuts from before and i have a feeling a lot of people are going to be disappointed by this game, just like always.

This board should be renamed the EA Can Go frick Itself Board.

I wouldn't say hate but it is definitely a very strong dislike. I'm just sick of their football games because it's the same shite every year. I actually like FIFA for the most part, except the fact that it's usually so buggy that it's hardly playable. That's a definite set back.

never understood these comments... It's college football, how much do you honestly expect it to change each year?

It's a new game... They are all $65. Hell people DID pay $65 for a remake (Halo: CE was re-released and the graphics updated).
I'm just saying that college football is college football, it's hard to make a new game out of the same thing.

Personally, I just want them to make improvements to the actual gameplay each year, rather than focusing on bullshite like presentation, halftime shows, and BS additions like Be a Heisman or whatever it's called. I don't feel like thats too much to ask. It took them 5 years to update the passing, and 6 to update the running game. Do you think that is acceptable?
ETA: Something I've been hoping for for years is the ability to actually identify blitzers and assign a lineman/RB to block them. Rather than just slide protection.

This would be nice, hell maybe it's in, all the details aren't out yet, but I don't think I'll get my hopes up.
