So I ended up with an Oyster poboy both days from both places. (some might say a noob move, but I didn't want a plate lunch or anything). I have to say, I cannot understand how places so close to the coast can screw up on the poboy bread. Both were served on what looked like oversized hot dog buns. Just glad I don't have to come back tomorrow (no offense to Kaplan!)

The food at restaurants, along with everything else is pretty terrible in regards to Kaplan. Should have taken advice and driven to Abbeville for food.

Very much a rookie mistake thinking you would get a good po boy in that area. I would go to Shucks or Dupuys in Abbeville for good fried seafood. Can't comment on the bread though. That area is known for its gumbos, étouffée, sauce picante, etc... If you went to Suires and didn't try the seafood stuffed pistolettes or the turtle sauce picante you missed out.
