So after attending our tenth consecutive weekend party at a kids gym/blow up bounce house place I got to thinking. How much would this be and would it be successful?

I'm in a booming market in the burbs and eh are booked weeks and months in advance.

My buddy said the insurance is dirt cheap because all parents sign a waiver releasing the place

What do you think? It's $200-$400 per party and included is about 60 minutes of playtime and cake and pizza

All the workers are between 16-20 so labor costs are nothing

I once heard that those bounce houses are $3-5k each. So you're probably looking at $20k or so for the houses. After that, a couple of fridges and a cash register is all you need... And a building, of course.

ETA:Looks like they're even cheaper than I thought More like $1500-2k each

Aren't you the poster who started a thread a couple of months ago about taking a job with a new employer who was a competitor of your ex-employer and you were asking for advice how to deceive your previous employer to keep paying you right up to the day you left to go work for the new company?

Liability insurance is through the roof, not to mention the real estate/warehouse and electricity costs to keep them inflated/cool warehouse.

One on Jefferson in PVille had like 20 parties scheduled on a Sunday.

$300-$400 per party X 20 is $12K-$16K per weekend.

Hire some girls in bikinis. It's the only way the dads will show up.
