anyone remember if when Dany's dragons were burning the guy if any of the dragonfire touched her? I ask because I was wondering last night about the properties of dragonfire versus ordinary fire versus wildfire. We know ordinary fire doesn't harm individuals with dragon's blood (basically Dany). I wonder if that also applies to dragonfire and wildfire?

it kinda looked like Dany's shackles got burned off at the end. I was thinking either the dragons breathed fire on them and burned them off ORRR she became so angry, her skin got so hot that she melted the shackles off herself. Either way, if the dragons fire is different from regular fire, I don't think it harms her either way.

ETA: And what determines whether or not one actually HAS dragon's blood? Is it like a recessive gene? Is that why her brother didn't possess it but she does?

I didn't consider that he could be a bastard, I was just thinking it was a recessive gene.

I thought this was just because the shackles were magical in nature. When the dragons burned the person who had cast the spell the spell was no longer binding. I can't really base this on anything, but it seems to be a common trope of how magic works in many fantasy settings, or at least I think it is

It looked to me that when the warlock guy died whatever magic was in the chains ceased and they just dissolved, but it could have been the dragon fire.

Eta: I now see this as been brought up.
