But, if you didn't know who were readers and who weren't, would her post have even made you blink, or say spoiler for that matter?

Honestly, I don't think anyone with common sense would think her answer was anything short of her opinion, if you didn't know she read the books.

IMO you can kinda tell when spoilers are afoot. But I never accused anyone of specifically posting a spoiler though. Although there were some mildly spoilerish stuff posted (nothing serious), my point was to try to avoid all the potential bad by separating the book info altogether. As nonreader, I don't want or need my enjoyment "enhanced" by book readers (like NY said).

But what if readers want their viewing enhanced by discussion with those that have "fresh eyes" and haven't read the books? You all seem to think it's readers trying to insult you when really some of us value your opinion and want to discuss the show.

The giant was a shocker for me, though I guess we should have expected it. Maybe not that soon, though. And I didn't expect them to actually be working with humans/wildlings. I think the discussions between Bran and his nurse and the way some things have been revealed, i.e., dragons, white walkers, wargs, and the deeper something Jojen was referring to about the three-eyed raven should have us expecting that all of the stuff that was thought to be legend is actually real and will slowly start to show up throughout season 3.

Oh, and magic from the guys that live in the House of the Undying in Qarth. Those guys were freaky. This isn't from Sunday's episode and I suppose I should go back and just look for myself, but does anyone remember if when Dany's dragons were burning the guy if any of the dragonfire touched her? I ask because I was wondering last night about the properties of dragonfire versus ordinary fire versus wildfire. We know ordinary fire doesn't harm individuals with dragon's blood (basically Dany). I wonder if that also applies to dragonfire and wildfire?

ETA: And what determines whether or not one actually HAS dragon's blood? Is it like a recessive gene? Is that why her brother didn't possess it but she does? Maybe they were only half-siblings...I don't know, but I really want to, unless of course that means bringing in spoilers! So maybe it's just something to ponder
