I'm shocked the fight was that close. Jamie has been tied to a stake for weeks and probably feed very little. Dude couldn't possibly have the strength to match up with someone who, even if he is at full strength, is bigger than him.

Jaime, next to Barristan (the old guy who is now with Dany), is the greatest sword fighter in the realm. At his strongest, Brienne probably wouldn't stand much of a chance against him. A weakened and chained Jaime Lannister she does, but he really sets a high bar.
