Also,
It's beyond sad that I have to steer clear of almost all of a non-book reader thread because book readers can't stay away.
I was really hoping someone would tell me it didn't happen this time.

I have loved her ever since The Tudors. Something about that wicked smile.
So what are the predictions for Jon? Do we think he remains a spy for the Nights Watch, or does he go full on Wildling for some Wilding poon?

The ultimate pragmatist, IMO. I bet she taught Margaery everything Margaery knows about playing the game. She really seems to understand what a woman can and can't do in the patriarchal society in which they live.
You got that from one conversation in which she admitted how many times she's failed?

It's not the spoilers that piss me off (because I think they all know a swift banning will come if they spoil). It's the back and forth with them trying to defend posting in this thread. That shite is cringe worthy.
Their behavior just reminds me never to nerd out and read these books, because apparently the company over in that thread sucks.

Ummmm, I think you need to be googling Natalie Dormer and nude right about now.
Thank me later.

It's conjecture, sure, and perhaps I'm being "ageist" in my assumptions, but you don't live that long and fail that often without learning a few things. And Margaery is clearly skilled; look at how she manipulates Joffery and the fact that she secured a marriage with Renly. Sure, her birth played a role in that or so I'd think, but you've still gotta play the game to keep from winding up like Ned. You aren't just born knowing things like that, they are instilled in you or you learn them from experience. Margaery seems to be a little young to have firsthand experience, so it seems logical to assume she was taught.
Look at what they brought Sansa there to do. They asked about Joffery to plan their next moves, IMO. Figure out if there are chinks in his armor. They accept that he's a monstrous little shite and and are planning to work around it (i.e., pragmatism).

I don't know what happened. It's just sad.

nothing really happened. People who haven't read the books are just getting upset thinking something did happen.
Not one single point was spoiled. Not a one.
The ONLY reason book readers are even in here is because the book threads go into speculation and are less about the show. These threads are only about the show, and the show is greatness.
Posted on 4/8/13 at 11:58 pm to Napoleon
Yeah, you're right. The book threads turn into all the readers bitching about the show bc of this or that. This thread is more about the show and I guess that's why a lot of fellow book readers feel the need to post in here.
I vote that none of us post in here...not even to clarify things. No one held our hands while we were reading. We shouldn't hold theirs while they watch.

I vote next week we have four threads. Yes four
One for Non book readers only. Any readers who post in that thread will be banned.
One for show discussion only, no book discussion, but book readers are allowed.
One for all out spoiling from all books.
One that allows book readers to answer questions that won't truly spoil the series.
I want to be in the other thread, but the in show discussion here was much much much better. While there it was "that isn't the same" I didn't picture her like that" etc.
IDK. I want to discuss the show.
I started in the non reader threads and now am a reader.
I think what always, always kills these threads is someone asks a question. People in forums love to answer questions.
From now on no answering questions in the non book thread if the question would spoil the show.
Also there have been at least ten posts from book readers in this thread telling book readers not to post in it.
Now we have non book readers scanning the other thread just cause.

I'm a little confused why book readers are even in the thread after reading through about 10 pages... I mean it's kind of the point of two separate threads
Edit: I stopped at 12 when I saw someone had been told to and followed through with deleting a spoiler post. To clarify, nothing that isn't specifically quoted in the show should ever be in this thread

it is the NO Spoilers thread and was started by a book reader. There was no "No bookfags thread" this week.
No Spoilers, and none were given. No where does this thread say non-bookreaders. People just assumed that. Seeing that the thread was started by a bookreader, most of us just figured this was the show discussion thread and that was the speculation thread.
I am all for a thread with no posts from book readers.
But this thread does not say that.

You are the biggest pussy on this site. You called iluv a count, acted tough and said you stood by it, then edited it out 2 hours later. fig.
Posted on 4/9/13 at 1:05 am to Napoleon
No idea why they are so ancy about it, I don't show up in the book thread and constantly muck it up with obvious questions that could be answered in the book

I edited it ten minutes after if that.
She wished death on me. frick her, she didn't even know what she was talking about. I never even said I stood by it. Bluegrass said it was harsh. I re-read and agreed and took that one word out.
Bitch went of on me, when from the begining I was just trying to be a Reginald Dennay- type. So are you calling me the biggest pussy because I said something to a girl you wanna fap too? She's married anyway. You guys hardleg too much.
Check the post then the edit time. Or is comprehension hard for you.
And how is the other guy saying shite was spoiled when it was edited before he saw it? It was book discussion and not needed here. Not spoilers of the show.
I made my post at 10:13 and edited at 10:27. So I guess that is two+ hours to an illiterate.
She told me to die in a fire and shite that I saw as a personal attack. My MO is always to attack back.
