It's pretty rare for a 21 or 22 year old to be a top player in MLB

Just in the past few years, Bryce Harper, Strassburgh, Mike Trout, Mike Stanton, Jayson Heyward

I'm not saying the high school kids would do well but they'd win a few games...

Think about it, college teams beat pro teams every now in then in exhibition (last I remember is BC beat the Red Sox a few years ago).
I'd be willing to bet a team of the best of the best high school seniors is better than a lot of D1 colleges since most of them are going straight to pro ball

Harper, Strasburg and Trout are once-in-a-lifetime type talents and Stanton has a very developed adult body for his age. They are the exceptions to the rule. As for Heyward, he had a big-time sophomore slump in 2011 hitting only .227 with a .708 OPS. In 2012, he struck out 158 times and only had a .335 OBP. He's gone through plenty of growing pains like most players of his age group go through.
