Is the requirement to turn your cart in at 6:45 pm an everyday rule?
What a terrible rule. I can't think of a reason that justifies it.

Their pro posts on here regularly. Maybe he can answer this for you.
My guess is to give their staff a chance to get home at a resonable time. I wish we did it at the atchafalaya while I was there.

I was a cart boy for 3 years at a course with a lot of play, and this never happened unless there was an afternoon shotgun start.
The point of charging less for afternoon rounds is so play doesn't drop off sharply and the course is still making money late in the day. This policy flies in the face of that.

It was rediculous some nights at the atchafalaya.
There would always be one idiot that would show up as we were picking up the carts for the day to go play 18. Our boss was always too big of a slapdick to say no so we were stuck there till 8:30-9:00 waiting on one cart.

You're about to get some.

The worst are the frickers who show up to hit on the range as you're taking it down at sunset.

yes, all carts must be in 30 minutes before "official" sunset.

Yea those people suck too. Those are usually the same people that walk to the chipping green and start using those balls to hit into the range

So the people who work there shouldnt have an opportunity to get home at a reasonable time?

Haven't seen one yet.
All BREC facilities close at dark...Therefore all employees MUST be off the premises before or at DARK (the ONLY exception is Santa Maria)! can't do that if there are 10 carts waiting to come in.

Wait, those people dont just live there? Crazy

You don't have a policy that cuts out an hour of valuable daylight to ensure the high school kid working in the cart barn is happy with his job.

Just get there an hour earlier.
Problem solved.

Thanks. Figured it was a policy instituted by BREC. Screams of a decision made by a non-golfer

It's high school kids. They will be ok. It's a terrible policy especially for public courses.

Since we are a BREC facility it's almost a no brainer!

I can already tell every cart boy at your golf course hates you and probably fricks with your clubs behind your back.
Also it's not high school kids, most of the time it's college kids.
