Just dumped on a Leblanc as Cho'Gath mid. I think he counters her so hard. Just build a little MR and you are good to go. Any time she comes in just silence her, pop an auto or two and then rupture her distortion ring thingy. Eventually she either stops trying or gets nommed. If she stops trying to kill you then she has to farm under turret the entire game and can't roam to get kills.
Cho is sneaky OP.

Awesome
I could see AP Mid Cho being hella beastly (pun intended) if your jungler leashes every blue buff to you (like he should) vs assasins
Would have trouble with mages with good range I think , like xerath.
Nice counterpick! I own Cho but don't play him as much as I'd like to.
When fed and ahead with a stacked RoA and full Feast stacks, good lord the map pressure
What did you build? Spirit Visage for your Feast?

I still can not get over how utterly ugly the people in my first match last night were... I guess if that happens again I will just go to the top lane and farm in the jungle, because I am not playing a game to get bitched at "because you're in MY lane" .. ok buddy, we are playing co-op intermediate bots, the bottom lane isn't suppose to be hogged by one ADC....

I built the MR part of spirit visage first and then went straight into ROA. I'll normally go frozen heart after that, but since I was getting ahead, I just got Deathcap. Nothing makes me happier in league than deleting a squishy with a Q, W, NomNomNom combo.

Yeah. . People are dicks and take shite way too seriously. Just mute and ignore
Don't bother with the jungle at the early levels. It's balanced around people having full rune pages (runes being a customizable Stat sheet you create before the game)
Long story short, jungle monsters hit hard as frick and will make your time miserable unless you are specially Specced for clearing the jungle and have the summoner spell smite

Nevermind the fact that they can't go 29-0-0 every game versus Beginner bots, much less human competition.... and most of their games, the have a negative kda.
So, get on... play the best game you can.
If you get behind, stay relevant some how... split push, take objectives, stay grouped to add some dps (or gasp, get a kill to boost your gold).
Oh... and MUTE everyone.

I seem to be getting the hang of it now, played jinx on the bottom lane with the female death character. I had 4 kills and like 25 assist, all four of my kills came towards the end of the match after I got the lightning ability. Game was super quick for a beginner fight, and mostly because by the time everyone else was destroying their first turret, we were destroying our first reactor thing
(Jinx's ability to mow down minions is phenomenal, holy cow)

There's a problem with jerk players in League of Legends, and in attempt to curb this Riot is doing more than just banning people. They're using hard science to get inside your head and make you a nicer human being.
In this great piece by science journalist Jeremy Hsu we get a look at some of the programs and techniques Riot is using to experiment on their userbase, and they're fascinating.
Working with Jeffrey "Lyte" Lin, a game designer with a Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, Riot ran a program called the "Optimus Experiment", which changed the colour of text messages displayed to players. Having looked at 10 million matches, it found that (at least among Western players) a warning message sent in red was more effective than one displayed in white, while on the flipside, a message in blue about a good result would be more likely to result in positive behaviour.
Another experiment on hostile players found that by using a temporary punishment — restricting their chat messages — they could reduce the number of abuse reports filed against that player by around 20% (and that's after their chat privileges had been restored, meaning they'd started learning their lesson). The same experiment also found that this approach was slightly more effective at "improving player behaviour" than bannings were.
Some of the other research programs Riot is running are a little more abstract; they're working with a UK university on seeing what relation a LoL player's name had to their personality, while an experiment with MIT is trying to build a type of AI that can study teamwork amongst strangers and then "predict performance on certain tasks."

Yeah, jinx is a late game hyper carry. Early game just try to farm and not die. Once you get 2 or 3 full items , then begin looking for fights
Sic, I do think riots plan to improve player behavior had worked. It's really not that bad now

Ahri got the shite end this patch. Charm nerfed and DFG removed? Jfc

Rito is changing how much it costs for your first jungle item, adding another 100g.
So junglers won't be able to camp - buff - camp - back - buy.
I expect a lot of level 3 scuttle crab skirmishes between rengar and jarvan.
Xz, pantheon, fiddle, warwick can clear a lot before their first back .
I'm wondering if dropping AS Quints for an extra armor and lifesteal quint for certain junglers will be worthwhile, to guarantee a first back jungle item buy without risk of being invaded or getting executed by gromp/razorbeaks
