Why is it that I have no problem buying other PC parts but I hate spending money on ram with a passion?
Just dropped $170 on some low profile Corsair 2x8GB and I am pretty butthurt about it.

I gave away some Ballistix and Corsair low profiles kits to someone here last here, I hated them, the sticks wouldn't OC for shtt and timings took a lot of fckking with to even tighten the slightest.
Did you purchase low profile for a HTPC build?
None the less, here is a little education for us
all. Remember this is not applicable to every application or game. You will see greater benefits from tighter timings and higher frequency mostly in MMO/Large Scale Map games.
