ill cover shipping and pay a little extra for the PSU if ya want, it would need to be shipped to New Orleans. So if you want to get back to me about how much that would cost let me know.

If it'll help you sell that GPU, you can have that PSU if you'll just cover shipping.
Thanks but I already got a lot from this board thanks to Coyote. Let someone else get this one. I don't want to be greedy.
ETA: Now Amazon is dicking me over. I have sold 3 of those Extreme4s but their seller service has been down all morning so I can't access the addresses to ship this stuff.

You can get the 7950 cheaper though. you can even get a 7970 for $300 right now which makes it hard to get the 760. LINK
eta: I was thinking the 760 started at $300 but now I see they start at $250 so not as bad as I thought.

Is that the same shitty card someone here was having problems with? It's the cheapest 7970 by a margin of $50, and the reviews concern me. I have a hard time recommending the retarded outcast of a top-end card, but I also have a hard time recommending a more expensive version given the price difference. I'm disappointed that you can't find $320 7970s with good coolers by now.

Shipping looks like $13-14 through UPS to 70114.

It has only 16 reviews on ncix but no problems there.

Oh, I was reading them on Newegg the other day and remember some comments about the bad cooler.

Some 9970 rumors!
See, this is why I'll probably never own an NVidia card. By the time I want to upgrade, AMD always has a better performing card at the same or better price point.

Maybe a different version? I didn't see that specific card on newegg but I also didn't look hard.
What are good brands for nvidia? I know evga but other than that? pny?

I got the power color 7970 from Newegg, it's on the way back to California for RMA
It was the 359 one

newegg7970
ncix7970
They say they are the same part but they don't look like the same. newegg ratings are bad for it while ncix is good. That's enough for me not to take the risk but I am curious about the difference.

Yep, that should be the same one but I dont know. No idea why Newegg is charging so much more for it. PCPartPicker shows it as $329 - $20 MIR = $309. But Amazon is selling is for $319 with no advertised rebate. I can't imagine the rebate not being accepted if you bought it on amazon though.
It seems like people have a lot of trouble with non-reference 7970s. My MSIs have been flawless, though, even after I let water gush out of the blocks and pool on both PCBs.
