I think for your box it was $22 maybe? I paid for 2 BXN shipments that day so I don't quite remember.

Hey Kim what's the sweetspot in regards to shipping with France 44. How much do you normally buy to see the best value considering shipping costs? I was looking at their site today. Very nice options.
France44 is great. The key is to fill up one box to maximize shipping cost. One box fills up with 6 4packs of Surly, I know that. As you are filling the shopping cart and before checkout it will let you know if your order exceeds one container.

Gotcha!! Thanks! I will likely place an order to be delivered while the wife is in DC/NY in early April.

Yeah Kim's right the first time I ordered 4 - 4 packs just placed another order Sunday for 6 - 4 packs and shipping was only $10 more. Definitely full up the box. Shits so good you'll be wanting all you can get anyway. Lol

Looks like I'm going to have to find this:
Port Brewing Hop 15
First brewed in 2002 to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Pizza Port in Solana Beach, Hop 15 was imagined and designed by Tomme Arthur and Jeff Bagby as a celebration of 15 years of “Good Beer Brings Good Cheer.”
Hop 15 has 15 different hop varieties added to the beer every 15 minutes. Over the years, Hop 15 has racked up numerous accolades. It has won two silver medals at the Great American Beer Festival. It also was named Alpha King in 2004 and 2008, and received a first place award at the Bistro Double IPA beer festival in Hayward, CA.
Hop 15 remains won of the stickiest most resinous beers we have ever tasted and for that, we are thankful it is on tap at our brewery each and every day.
Malts – Two Row and English Light Crystal
Hops – We use 15 Different Varieties on a strictly don’t ask don’t tell policy
Yeast – White Labs California Ale and Proprietary Yeast Strains
Original Gravity – 1.086
Terminal Gravity – 1.014
ABV – 9.7 %

Question for the board...
I know IPA freshness hovers around 3 months but does that hold true for reds, i.e. hop head red. We just got it but it all has 09/12 brew dates on them. The WC IPA has 01/13 dates. Just seems weird that there is such a difference.

I think it holds true for any beer that has hops at the forefront. It just varies from beer to beer more than style to style sometimes. For instance, I find that Endeavor loses much more than other DIPAs within 3 months.

Nice! I like it. I drank the last 2 yesterday, but still might go get some more if they still have some. Wife must be wondering why I am buying Sucks instead of Lil' Sumpin...oh well.

Thats what I figure. As for the endeavor, it has completely disappeared in Lake Charles. It's the great vanishing. I will admit that my beer buying has decreased recently so I might just be missing it.

Yea, Endeavor does seem to crash and burn in a very spectacular way.
