It's a dallas joint. Food is legit but is pricey for the small portions

Has a cool vibe and you can get buffalo or elk.

Burger fries and drink is about $15

Can we please get more restaurants in Shreveport? There aren't enough boarded up ones.

semi on topic but I noticed today that in the old Maggie Moos space on Youree theres some sort of sign in the window. It says coming soon and has a picutre of a burger. I couldn't see a name on it though.

Any of ya'll heard what it'll be? If its a burger joint, that's not a particularly good location with Cheeburger, Smashburger & Five Guys right there by it.

ETA: I guess it was a sammich, not a burger. Drew Brees will be happy...it's gonna be a Jimmy Johns. Bad news for Jersey Mikes and Especially Lenny's which is hanging on by a thread and now closes at 8 on weeknights.

Twisted Root is great. Yes, it is more expensive than you may be used to, but the selection of burgers is second to none. There are not many places you can get a lamb or elk burger, and despite the large variety in the menu, everything I have had there has been good to great. They make their own sauces, pickle varieties, and root beer, so the dedication to put out quality stuff is evident. Not exactly somewhere I would want to go everyday, but it is in my rotation of places to bring out of town guests for lunch.
