Hell yes. As long as you assemble them in the kitchen. I don't think you can claim cooking if you're putting them together on a boat or picnic or something.

I don't want my kids growing up on processed garbage.

My father did most of the cooking in my house when I was growing up, so he was a sort of role model for me. I like to eat, but have frequently lived in places that didn't have great restaurants, so I had to learn to cook in order to eat the way I wanted to eat. I also think it's a lot of fun.

1) It's creative.
2) It's fun.
3) It's challenging.
4) It's delicious.
5) I get paid for it.

honestly, i had no desire to cook until about 10 yrs ago. Had gumbo at a relative's house in Laffy and it was so good, I kept telling the woman who cooked it how good it was. She said " i can send you the recipe" I said okay but, i don't cook.
Got the recipe followed it step by step and the gumbo came out really good......and i was hooked.

The French ex somehow pulled off the inconcievable task of staining a stainless steel pot when I was working on the road along with delaminating the copper exterior from a tri-ply 5 qt dutch oven.

Picked it up via many weekends with my Mak (grandmother) in the kitchen doing everything from canning to baking. It's definitely a creative outlet and I'm convinced it's a stress reliever too.
I also like cooking for people I care about. Call it an expression of love I guess. That's probably the most fun for me.

I like to be able to determine as much as possible exactly what I put into my body.
Also, it's a gas.

I got started as a kid because I loved cookies, but my mom didn't fix them as often as I liked. So I learned to make them myself. It's turned into my hobby and basically a form of therapy. I can experiment with new things or make something that I know is good and feel good about it.
Oh, and as for
I'd try it!

For the ladies
LOL JK. It's unbelievably fun, and I've learned through my parents. They like cooking for people so it kind of got passed on to me. Seeing people being truly grateful for your time and effort is totally worth it. And yes, chicks love guys that can work magic in the kitchen.

If you get something dirty and have to wash it in the assembly, I'd say youre cooking.

I have non diagnosed ADD (haha) and when I cook, I feel like I'm concentrated on just one thing. It's a great stress reliever and I save money too.
